Brent and Mike have known each other since 2002 and have performed many projects together as the companies they each worked for partnered and subcontracted individual trade work.  Working together in a General Contractor, subcontractor relationship, their project histories include management of $30M Job Order Contracts and $10M dollar historic renovations.  The two decided to bring their experiences together in one company in 2015 to expand their business as a national company providing construction and maintenance services.

Brent L. Motley, President (Majority Owner)

• Brent served in the United States Army as Combat Construction Specialist and was a member of the Carpenters Union prior to founding BKM Construction.  Brent’s hard knocks education includes over 30 years of experience providing an invaluable real world experience that has transferred to being a higher effective leader of the company providing overall operation and execution of day to day operations. 

 

Michael D. Meyer, (Minority Owner)

• Mike began framing houses prior to turning to a college education.  He worked in Civil Engineering for the United State Air Force while earning a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri.  Mike’s 25 plus years of experience includes a large number of Federal contracts, specifically performance based indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts providing the detailed knowledge to provide contract management and execution.
